Fanfic: Casey's bad day

Summary: every one has them those days you feel like you should not have gotten out of bed. this is one of those days for Casey.
Casey’s bad day
Casey had a lot of bad luck that day. He had an appointment on the other side of the city. After tossing his alarm clock into the wall because the device had failed to wake him up, burning the toast for breakfast, his shower had turned cold half way through, and he found that his motor had a flat tire. And he had this important appointment with the owner of the building he lived in on the other side of town so he had to take the subway. After yelling at the ticket machine because the thing did not cooperate, he made it to the train just on time, slipping through the doors just before they closed.
Now he was looking for a seat. He found one near a woman with four children, who were making a lot of noise. Shortly after Casey sat down, the children started running through the car. Casey tried to stay calm, but after about ten minutes, he exploded and yelled: “Get your kids to sit down and stop yelling, lady!” The woman stood up, placed her hands on her side and answered him that he should mind his own business, with a few curse words in between. Casey started cursing and yelling too and they ended up face to face yelling and cursing each other.
The subway train stopped at a station, and an officer came in. He separated the two and asked what had happened. Before Casey could react, the lady had accused him of attacking her and her children, and the officer took Casey out of the train while saying: “You better calm down or I will arrest you!” After the officer had pushed Casey out, the doors closed and the train left. A man who had also stepped out at that station explained to the officer what really had happened, and got Casey out of trouble. The officer disappeared and Casey thanked the man.
Now he had to wait for the next train, which would be in fifteen minutes. Casey was leaning against a wall and looked at the clock. If he did not encounter more trouble, he could still be in time. A few minutes before his train arrived, a message was heard over the speakers. Casey cursed and kicked the pillar when he heard the train would be twenty minutes later! He limped to a nearby bench to sit down and to take a look at his now sore foot.
“I am glad the turtles or April didn’t see me do that.” When the next train finally came, Casey stepped in and again found a seat. The train had been riding for about ten minutes when a voice came over the speaker, informing them of a holdup because of a broken signal somewhere. Casey cursed. ”I will never make it on time!” This just was not his day. When he finally arrived at the building where he had an appointment, he was ten minutes late. Or so he thought. When he arrived at the right spot, a secretary informed him that his appointment was in two days! Casey just stared at the secretary’s face, completely stunned. He should have stayed in bed that morning.
