Thanks to everyone who's been leaving supportiing messages. I'm really sorry my posts have been such downers, but you know... homesickness... Today I kinda feel like I wanna go back home, tho the idea of having to get on a plane again is such a drag that I just go "meh, let's go see the Capilano Suspension Brigde today."

They talked VERY briefly about it on The Today Show (what? I know about it because of The Soup and I use it as background noise while I get ready), as in... "over fifty people were killed in a casino in the Mexican city of Monterrey" and that was it. I think CNN said something similar. Tho apparently, it was one of the headliners in European News Journals. Go figure.
Also, that casino was pretty close to my place. About a 10-minute drive. The worst thing is, it was in-between two schools (of course, there were issues with the permits and they were operating pretty much illegally). I remember driving past it and thinking "WTF!? THERE'S A SCHOOL ON THE NEXT BLOCK!!"

I loved the bridge and everything around it. It was beautiful and peaceful and wonderful and all kinds of somethingful. That thing about the kid tho... EXTREME D:

As for the aquarium. Do you mean the one in Stanley Park? I think there's another one, but it's somewhere else in BC. Please, do let me know. I wanted to visit, but the line to buy tickets was eternal. I might go next week if the one you're talking about is the one in Stanley Park.
