AnimeUSA+Cosplay+Fangirls=Being molested all weekend...@_@
So...wow...this weekend was AMAZING!
I showed up super late on Friday. Around 4pm or so. I hadn't taken a shower and was sweaty and smelled...still I ended up playing Brawl and Mario Kart Wii for about 3 hours with my roomates xD Oh the fun!
Around 7-730 I FINALLY went to register! It was fun fun fun! :D I smelled bad D: But whatevs~ I got my pass and went back upstairs to shower and change to head to dinner ;x
Courtney, Bryant, Shelby, Chris, Corey and myself all went to Chilis for our traditional Friday night dinner outing :D
We all took our DSes and played the Bleach fighting game~ It was fun but sadly only 4 can play at a time and the load times are Ridonkulous :x
We swapped over to Mario Kart DS and enjoyed ourselves xD And shouted in agony as lag messed us up lol
We got our food and got tipsy with some wonderful alcoholic drinks xD We were tempted to dine and ditch seeing as we were right next to an open door leading into an alley. After we left and the girls were FALLIN' SIDEWAYS! we saw where the door led and figured only a few of us woulda gotten away by jumping a small fence xD Ah well. 20bucks a piece wasn't bad for dinner~
We went back to our room for some fun and I went down to see Freezepop :D! <3 OH MAI GAWD <3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Freezepop was fucking AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I ran into Chris there and had a freaking awesome time! They were so great interacting with the crowd :D
They finished off with "The Final Countdown"! The entire crowd was jumping up and down and singing along :D It was EPIC! Ran into Tiffany Cardinale at the con, that was...surprising! Saw her after the concert when I was heading back to the room to change into rave clothes! Went to teh rave with Courtney and Bryant~ It was pretty fun! DJ SIREN IS AWESOME! <3 He's adorable! xD!!!!!!!! He has a crazy awesome intro that kinda reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas! He throws candy at one point into the crowd and dance around on stage during the intro song. He plays mostly harder and heavier techno/dance beats. It's darker if you will~
Went to bed around 2-3am and woke up around 10ish xD
And holy shit! I got to Mingle with other people in The World Ends With You :D
I mingled almost all weekend lol I only ran into 3 people. One was Courtney ;p
And I kept running into one guy. I got some pretty sweet pins at discount prices :D It was pretty funny reading some of the other encounters....I ran into a monkey's uncle...myself in 20years...and alien...a civvy...it was funny xD
Saturday was also quite epic...I did L once again. But I decided to make it better with some props. I found some nice little plates and a teacup. I filled the plate with Zebra cakes and some other candy thing. I also filled the teacup with sugar cubes! :D!!! And I wore a real metal pair of handcuffs...lol Needless to say...I got a lot of attention simply from carrying the plates around xD
I got molested and asked for candy/sugar all day @_@
I sat at the cafe waiting for Courntey and the others to finish with the Versailles concert. I wasn't too sure about Versailles so I decided to just chill at the cafe thingy in character~ I built a small sugar cube tower and posed for passers by xD Versailles ended up not playing until 1am >_> we had heard the show was cancelled so we all went and got ready for the race. Courtney and I got into our EBA outfits and went down ready to save the day! We soon realized that teh concert was still to happen :o
We watched Versailles and they were so gooood! I was pleasantly surprised ;x Their costumes were gorgeous!
After the concert we raved for a good while :D Courtney and I ran into the circle and danced like agents xD It was priceless! AND KON TOTALLY WAS DANCING ON THE GOGO TABLE! :D!!! <3
We heard that the rave went on until 7am. It started around 2:30am. I woulda stayed for all of it, but I was so exhausted, dehydrated and sweaty! @_@
I ended up going to the room around 3:30ish~ While on the elevator this lady asked if my hair was real >_> Discovery CD~ You know~ "One More Time" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger"! They did SUCH AN AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL JOB! They had blue body paint and orange outfits! Light up tamborine and bass guitar :D And the drummer was a small crazy person xD <3!!!!!!! They were crazy awesome <3 <3 <3 <3
I left around 2:30ish and made it home around 3:45~ Traffic wasn't bad at all. All in all it was a crazy awesome weekend <3
I know I missed a few stories here and there...but it's just too much to type xD

Oh...tehre were a lot less people this year~ We were pretty surprised but obviously understood fully due to the financial issues going on..=\
Heh. Well...that's it for now~ I'm craving some FFXI! <3
