Thanks, saved a bunch. Any chance of getting 8 with (either "The Heathus" or) "Touch the screen" on it? Possibly an obscure reference, but there is that Genesis "Jesus he knows me" song with that line in it, and it popped in my mind when I saw that.

No, I can't believe I'm actually contemplating Ledger icons. Bad Joker, bad. Tsk.

Squee, thank you. :) That was very quick.

Well, that and Casanova was on here last night. Reserving a ticket for that Doomed thing here, I suspect. I'm so ashamed. *does penance watches more TDK*

Hee. You're welcome!

Ooo, I never seen Casanova. Just got into seeing a couple of Heath's movies since TDK. And have no shame! That Heath Ledger was a great actor. *Nods* It's rather rare in my opinion. ^_^

No, I mean that I normally/only prefer older men. Not those 4 years younger. ;)

I'd seen and been favourably impressed by him in a Knight's Tale and more so Four Feathers, but I always totally gloss over his being in The Patriot, for one. Isaacs and more to focus on instead there, no pretty boy youths. So it's not about the acting, that I would've said had great potential even before TDK, it was the looks and the blond thing I never paid much attention to until the Joker was too mindblowing to keep ignoring the rest either. Add Casanova and Ledger pulling off being charming and funny without trouble in what I saw of it, and DOOMED comes to mind. ;P

Ahhh, I see. Goodness, I'm totally with you on that, but in my case he's perfect age wise, hehe. *grins*

To be honest, I didn't care much about A Knight's Tale, Broke Back Mountain as well ( I know people would attack me for that one, LOL ). But his acting in those movies impressed me and what gets me the most, he can be so different in each of his roles, his voice, everything. Unlike most actors/actresses, when I see him on screen, I don't see Heath Ledger (especially his Joker).

The fact that he was willing to go far in his roles, is what grabs me, that's an actor.. and not playing himself in everything, like most of these so called actors often do. In my opinion, he's a lot like Johnny Depp. XD

I'll definitely add those movies you mentioned to the "soon-to-see" list. =)

Yeah, I was won over by it being the Joker, not Ledger. The make-up helps and you rarely see the actor's physique or even face pop up in any way, which is nice. Haven't seen Brokeback but it doesn't seem like my kind of movie no matter how worthy (or how much gay cowboy sex supposedly).

Just such a pity. He could've done so much more, meh. And that merely from a selfish POV from me.

Heath's acting was great in Brokeback, but the story..eh.. and a bit too long for me, haha.

And I agree with you, I would've loved to see Heath play as the Joker again in a future batman movie, along with the character, Harley Quinn.
