Pussy Riot supporters tried the "high" style
Hooligans were arrested near the Hamovniki courthouse on the fifth day of the Pussy Riot trial. Several band supporters, after climbing the rooftop of the building across the street, were burning smokebombs. While waving the fires they were chanting slogans in support of the defendants. They were only removed from the rooftop via construction crane.

The debauchery in front of the Hamovniki courthouse windows lasted nearly an hour and the police force took significant effort to stop this clearly illegal activity. Which is understandable since the event took place at a considerable height.
Taking advantage of the renovation works going on in the store three young people climbed the construction scaffolds and onto the roof. Soon the police men followed. And though the law enforcement people were merely doing their job the supporters of the defendants immediately started yelling at them.
- Fascists are climbing! Fascists are climbing!
- We strongly suggest that you don't disrupt civil order!
- Shame! Shame!
- You are requested to leave the rooftop voluntarily!
But no one was going to climb down voluntarily. Even more, the young people tied each other to the window bars.
- I am the authority here! We are the authority here!
The inhabitatnts of the building went to their balconies and the construction workers, who were doing repairs on its facade, and had clearly never seen anything like it in their homeland, stopped working. According to witnesses all that was going on was very well heard in the court room as well, where the trial of Pussy Riot was taking place. Alexei Navalny decided to participate in the trial as well.
- "I am acquainted with "Tolokno" and the lawyers have summoned me as a witness of the defence. I am going to say that this was an absolutely political action. Let me try and enter the court and let's see whether I'll succeed" - the opposition blogger stated.
Navalny, as he discovered, was not welcome in the court. The judge has decided to question three witnesses of the defence and Navalny was simply not on that list.
At some point the situation in front of the Hamovniki court got absurd. The policemen brought water for the rowdies - it was hot outside - but they smoked instead. However, soon even the Pussy Riot supporters started urging the rowdies to end their action - what they called "performance" was clearly going on for too long.
- Is there any chance that you run that way and nicely evade the police?
Nice evasion failed. Instead the police acted nicely - they brought a construction crane and soon all those who took to dancing on the store rooftop where in turns brought down to the ground level in a hanging stage. And then were escorted to a police van.

Who those people were is up to the police to find out. Meanwhile, the reporters in front of the courthouse wondered: if the girls-band who organized a debauch in Christ Savior Temple were called Pussy Riot, what should the new boys-band be called?
