Back in Dubuque from Colorado

Hello, this is Kami. My dear husband Dave is fast asleep in bed right now as he drove the whole way here from CO. It took 20 hours this time because Meliss and I wanted to stop and shop at the Silverthorne outlet stores. We got some things (unmentionables) so it wasn't a waste of time. Poor Dave sat in the car reading most of the time. Anyway, it's currently 12 noon central time and we've been here about 1/2 hour. I am not tired enough to sleep as I slept at least half of the time we were on the road. Here is a little update from our CO trip:
*We found nothing out about a fall job for Dave. The dude Dave needed to talk to was too busy the first of the week and then left town.
*My parents are looking into buying a new house after having lived in the current one for a good 19 years. Crazy!
*My dad will be starting his new job soon making twice as much as he did at the old one -- answer to prayer.
*The weather so amazing in CO. Around the 60s the whole time. It was hard to come back to cold temps.
*We went hiking on the National Monument and it was a ton of fun. We got some great pictures up there. I hadn't been there in over two years.
*We played a ton of Settlers of Catan and I won 3 out of 5 games. Yea! I was very surprised.
*My brother Greg and his wife Andrea are trying to get pregnant again. They have Ryley who will be a year old next month.
*Dave and I are faced with making some tough decisions about my left elbow pains. It's a matter of pursuing relief now paying out of our pockets and waiting to get pregnant till it's taken care of - or - getting pregnant now and waiting till we have insurance for my elbow (which could end up being a year from now). Please pray for us in this decision.

That's about it.
Love,
Kami
