Spring break is quickly approaching! Thursday late afternoon Dave, Melissa and I are heading to Colorado. I am so glad Melissa is coming with us. i try to figure out why. Not that I shouldn't be excited but I wondered why it's different than hanging out with her here in DBQ, Iowa. Well, I think I am excited to show off my cute little friend to my family. I knew my little sister Bethany would be thrilled that a friend of Kami's is coming. Bethany will have a lot of dolls and toys to show off to someone new. Also, I am excited to show off my family. I am proud of my family, ll the little kiddos and my sisters and brothers. I love my family!! So, I'm excited Meliss is coming home with us. I hope she enjoys her time. I am ready for a break from life here in DBQ. I love where we are, school, work, friends, but I am getting anxious. I know I shouldn't but I am. I'm ready to move on to living in CO, having kids, buying our first home, going back to Lakeside. It's a lot of exciting stuff which makes me feel like we're stuck here twiddling our thumbs. But God knows and has a plan. We need to finish here and bloom as long as we're here. So, we are praying about Dave's fall job possibilities. We ar gonna contact Life Academy when we get to CO. Maybe we'll find something out. . . .maybe.
We had an off-campus open house night on Sat. which was fun. We didn't have a big turn out but got to hang out with some students we didn' know which was why we did it. I'll have Dave put some pictures from that night on here later.
Well, back to work. :-) That's a funny statement, considering I don't do much here at work. hehe. I love my job!
