i'm going to try this one more time
journal writing is a subtle art and i've been out of it lately.
musicfest was fucking awesome. friday i saw American Hi-Fi then hung out till 10. saturday i saw Spin Doctors then spent the night at pat's house, hit the pipe, and watched the Spongebob Squarepants movie. sunday we got there early because our ride really wanted to see Chevelle. so we got there at 11:40 and the gates didnt open till 1. we rushed to the rail as soon as they did and then then waited till 2:15 when Relient K came on. they were pretty good, then Chevelle came on at like 3:50 i think. i'd never heard Chevelle but when i did they were awesome. i've never seen that many crowdsurfers in my life. i got a sunburn but only on the left side of my face, and a crowdsurfer kicked me in the ear and another one knocked me over because i didnt notice him until too late. i was at the front on the rail so everyone was pushing crowd surfers toward us and i was right in front where the security guys rip them out of the crowd. damn, crowdsurfing looks painful. anyway, i really wish i couldve stayed till Billy Idol and the Black Crowes but, beggars can't be choosers. maybe i'll have a car next musicfest. all in all it was really fun.
afterwards i downloaded some Chevelle and man, they sound NOTHING like they did in concert. its like two completly different bands. live he has a deep metal voice, recording-wise he has a gay emo voice. Relient K was the same way. they were both so much better live than in studio.
3 weeks left of school, and we dont do shit during exam week. i think i'm slipping and considering how close i am to the edge with this VAMPY shit i'd better keep it together. just 2 more weeks...
i need to stop being so dependant on teh computar becaus ei'm not gonna have it over the summer. i also wanna be in shape. i dont wanna be built i just wanna have abs. i will as soon as i get enough money to buy the remaining parts of my skateboard.
