A few random thoughts right after watching the film.

I think it was quite perfect. I don't remember the book perfectly so I didn't notice any huge changes (besides the context of the kiss). The Hogwarts battle was beautifully done. Neville was AMAZING.

I cried a bit, not as much as I thought, and I was glad because the two people next to me weren't huge fans so I'd have felt a bit embarrassed. I did hear some sniffing around me xD Snape's memory was the moment I started crying the most. I really liked it, I've never been a huge fan of Snape's but I really felt for him here. Although the shot of him holding Lily's body and crying was a bit awkward XD Of course the moment I cried the most was when Harry went to meet Voldemort at the forest and sees his parents and the marauders. It's the moment that kills me in the book and it was perfectly done. All the sad moments really were perfect. They weren't melodramatic but still heartbreaking (Fred!).

I was REALLY nervous when Ron and Hermione went to the Chamber of Secrets because I knew what was coming and I dont know, I was underwhelmed? I need to see it again. BUT! They totally fucked each other after Harry killed Voldemort. I mean, everyone started laughing in my theatre it was so obvious.

THE EPILOGUE. It was like bizarro world. We all laughed through the whole scene. It wasn't badly done (except Ginny's hair lol) but it was SO WEIRD to have these teens acting like middle aged people. Ron's gut, Hermione's mum face, Draco...

It felt strange not to have a title card saying THE END. But I don't feel like it's really over because I need to watch it again. Maybe then...
