First of all, I've just read the last Scott Pilgrim book. Saying it was awesome is a understatement. I loved it, I laughed so much! I didn't really understood some of the explanations, but I don't care. Let's see how the movie ends, but I hope it's at least as hilarious as the book.

The Placebo concert the other night was good. I liked it, they sounded really good. The bad thing was that it was very very short. Only one hour and a half! These guys have so many songs, that sucked. I went to the toilet and when I came back I decided to buy another beer (I was already drunk xD) thinking I had some time to go until the end (and I could get even more drunk), but they played like a song and it was over. I was like: WHAT? I HAVEN'T FINISHED MY BEER. And one of the guys I was with: yeah, you have at least for another two songs! xD I had fun with them, I didn't understand half of what they were saying (they were all musicians) but they were nice.

Oh and on monday I'm going to meet Sam Mendes!! Well, probably not personally, but he's doing a Q&A, more or less like the one I went to last september with Alejandro Amenabar. I'm going to get my hands on Revolutionary Road and Away we go, and even if I won't have the courage to do it, I'll try to think of some question to ask him.

Talking about movies, yesterday I watched Restrepo. I really really liked it. It's a doc about a US platoon deployed in Afghanistan. They compare it to The Hurt Locker (I guess all Iraq/Afghanistan will be compared to that), but it's more like Generation Kill, so if you liked that, check this out. I think it's being released this year.
