Days 3 and 4
Yesterday was day 3 in the new place. I have yet to do dishes as I lack the brush end of my scrub brush thing. I need to pick up some of those today. Yesterday was pretty uneventful. Minus my two hour shift at the front desk. The desk has had a complete overhaul over the summer so nothing is in the same place it was last year. It makes it almost like my first time there. The one exception is that I can help people find where stuff is, since I know the building itself and the campus pretty well.
I went to the library book sale too. I really didn't think I would find anything, but, since I was already there to pick up a book for class, I figured I'd have a look around. I ended up buying a bag of books for $2. I found the two Bunnicula books I was missing to finish the series. Have any of you ever read them? And then I picked up a few travel books, Europe and London mostly, since I WILL eventually take that European tour. And the rest were either classics or ones good for an English class. I also picked up one just for giggles: How to Win at Nintendo Games #3. It's about the NES games. I laughed and figured why not. I had to fill the bag anyway. It's something fun to show Jared next time I am home. Besides, I've always wanted to know how to beat "The Adventures of Bayou Billy".
Kyle and I were going to go out to a small house party at his friend's place last night, but by 10pm I had already fallen asleep on my couch. I did not awaken until about 1am. So going out was out of the question. I am trying to kick this habit of being tired by 10, but I think the long days at KI are still influencing my sleep patterns.
Today I have quite a errands to run, and some things to bake, but nothing too special.
