Discovery
Last week was so gruling. I worked so hard and even through the weekend and I haven't had much time to stop. But thankfully this week is a whole lot easier. This weekend though was amazing! I got to go to Dallas to Discovery Weekend. I went to interview Campus Missionaries. I have been to Discovery Weekend 5 times. 3 times to interview (I went to Boston, New York, Arlington, and as a Campus Missionary @ SHSU) and 1 time as apart of the servent team and this time to interview. My partner was Robert Hooker, who is also my boss. It was both our first times to interview but it was so amazing. We had such a great group of students. I remembered interviewing last year and now a year later I got to interview students. It is cool to sit back and reflect on how much I have grown and changed since then. I feel in some ways that I am almost a completely different person then I was a year ago. Like I have a lot more confidence in my self and I am more compassionate and merciful and I don't get angry so often. I am more flexible then I used to be and I think I laugh at myself more easily. This year has really streched me and grown me in ways that I didn't expect. It has been such a good thing in so many ways. I am so glad that I stayed here an extra year. I have gotten involved in so many people's lives. I think this experience has taught me so much more then I will ever be able to see.
