I come from another group of islands called Destiny Islands. Have you heard of it?

I think the weirdest thing I saw today was a really big bear walking on the beach. I didn't bother him though.

Sure, if you don't mind. So far I've heard about sea kings and sky islands. Is there anything else?

...A fair bit. Devil Fruit would be a good place to start, I think. Unless you've come across those before?

And the structure of the world, I suppose.

Nope, never heard of those. Are they like Paopu Fruit?

Not in the slightest, I should imagine. Devil Fruit are extremely rare cursed fruit that endow the one who eats them with unique and often quite powerful abilities, while taking away one's ability to swim. Which is more than a bit inconvenient, as this world is made up entirely of oceans with islands scattered throughout them, with one thin, encircling continent around the north-south axis of the planet.

There are many Devil Fruit users throughout the Line, including myself. For the most part, they are highly, highly dangerous.

Well, yes. I ate my Fruit about a year and a half ago, so I've got excellent control over it now.
