In that moment, Colette's whole world blurs at the edges and she feels like the air conditioning in the room has dropped to 40 F.

She feels so humiliated as she brushes past a co-Pilot from another flight and drops her bag at his feet; his profuse apologies flood her with guilt and she is crying before she even bends down to pick her article up.

She places the magazines down and watches the blonde's beehive over the seat and wishes childishly that she would be swallowed by her seat.

'Please.' Her final beg causes every synapse in her brain to scream 'no!' but her heart makes her nod curtly and agree to let Bridget ruin what she was with Dean.

She locks herself in the bathroom as they fly over Greece and with forty five minutes until landing time, Colette feels like it is forty five minutes until every single happiness in her life is stolen.

She spends five minutes glaring at the cabin door as Ted approaches Kate to ask for a coffee before she makes her way to speak to Dean but her courage leaves her at 14B and she turns to find a passenger wanting a apple jack rabbit.

She manages not to spill another other drinks on passengers.

Dean approaches her and she feels awful, horrid, disgusted in herself.

She was practically giving him away.

The Beatles fever is reaching new heights and Colette smiles over the concierge's complacent commentary but her attention is elsewhere.

Her eyes close slowly as the scene before her prises open a gruesome picture she didn't want to contemplate.

The climb to her hotel room is slow - she has to press against the wall as wayward fans stream up the stairs in packs of hormonal hysteria.

The shower alleviates the tension momentarily but when she get's out she remembers what she desperately wished could be washed away.

She watches the clock tick over and she wonders what Bridget is saying; how she will convince him to stay.
