Kinases (kin- meaning movement, and -ase meaning enzymes (which are molecules that change other molecules)) attach phosphates to things, and attaching a phosphate almost always makes a molecule active...or, as the name implies, modifies it so it can move.

Last time I checked...8,000-ish? Of which I probably don't know about 900, so I run into something new pretty frequently. I wanna get a whole bunch more, and I have a huge list of artists/songs I want, but I'm putting off downloading them until I have a little free time.

Lets see...Halloween, I went with a couple of friends to another friend's house where we had dinner (pork, spinach, mushrooms and pumpkin pie). It was very tasty. Then I went to two parties and drank champagne from a guy's crotch (he was wearing a box of champagne) and then me and my friend (one of the girls from the party) bumped into two strange guys who invited us to their apartment (they had friends with them, but we met those two first) and so we went and gave vodka shots to people on the street from their very low balcony and it was very fun. Then I dropped my friend off and came home where I snuggled into bed with Duy who had come to visit from Dallas (but he's not very into parties, so he stayed home) and went to bed.
All in all, a very good night.
And I'll be sure to write back to your e-mail as soon as I can :)
