Wow, the start of a new thing! I haven't done a blog before.
This is the start of my year and a day dedicated to the moon. OK, really it was the Lunar Beltane (Tuesday, May 4th, 2004) that was the start, but I didn't start the journal until today. The next few entries will have some backgroud, but I'll keep this one simple.
She told me, as a basic start that I would have to understand the relationship between the Moon and the tides. It is not as simple as the astronomers would have you believe. If you look at tide charts, they do not follow the 6 hour, 13 minute pattern, and high high tides are not 50 minutes apart from one another each day. There is something else going on that I don't understand yet...
