Copper comes from arizona, peaches come from georgia, and lobsters come from maine!
Here I am, updating this from the lovely and scenic Mountain Village, Colorado (aka the resort outside Telluride, CO). We are joined by my aunt and uncle from dallas (the ones i stayed with a couple weeks ago). Its really nice out here. Everything is so peacefull and cool and green. Our condo overlooks the valley and the view is jsut gorgeous. There is still quite a bit of snow on the mountain peaks abouve the tree line. A gentle breeze is always blowing.
Today (being 4 July) there was a parade through main street in telluride. It was somewhat fun, but geared more twords the locals/sappy tourists. The best float was The Church of Celebritology, reading passages from the good book (people mag), carrying posters like "jim caveizal died for our sins!!" They had several water balloons thrown at them. They then had a festival in the main park as a fundraiser for the volonteer firefighter department. reasonable food.
A nice nap, with that breeze blowing over you.
