I'm sick. But I have a free period now second period. That combined with now being able to go off campus for lunch is pretty freakin awesome. But I am sick now and that sucks.
My mom is at my apartment. She came last night and we went out to eat and buy groceries and get Elton John's new album. Then we watched pride and prejudice at my place, I had to read the book for school so I wanted to see it. I thought it was a good version of the story, sticks to the text pretty well. Kiera Knightly is really hot.
I bought Jet's new album, Shine On. It's really good I like it a lot. The thing about Jet is that you just have to embrace the fact that they are like a huge sponge, soaking up every musical influence that has ever graced their ears. Maybe that means they lack originality, but whatever.. I like them a lot. Especially the title track which if you ask me will most definitely be the second single, maybe third.
I've been thinking about Granny a lot recently. Death is such a hard thing to deal with. It takes huge amounts of time and because of the fact that I try not to think about it as much as possible, it never really gets easier. But maybe its not supposed to. It's weird driving her car, the same car that I used to ride with her to go to yardsales when I was a young boy. But I'm really glad that I have it because she really wanted me to have it.
I have a test next period which I am going to own. That'll be fun.
