Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Winry is 5'3/5'4. She's not thin, but not fat either--about average with a little bit of muscle.
Update: In SC lately because of certain events she's gotten to be on the thin side, probably looks a little lanky.
2. How old is she? Fifteen/Sixteen. She is fifteen at the start of the manga, but considering how much time has passed she could be sixteen now. I think she's definitely hit it at SC at least.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Good posture! Winry is a very confident person.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Winry is very healthy and quite fit considering how much she works with heavy objects and machinery. She's got a tiny bit of muscle on her. She eats pretty healthy for the most part. Headcanon she has a bit of a sweet tooth though she tries to not indulge. Because Pinako is a drinker and she is German and the last time I played her was a pirate AU I think Winry might drink every once in a while, and have a pretty good tolerance.
Update: Some of her health has deteriorated a bit. She gets tired and short-winded pretty easily but is always pushing herself and hides it pretty well.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Odd question xD I'm not sure? Probably cause of TST I see her as being a pretty quick person. She doesn't like wasting time and that includes moving from one place to another. Agile too.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Mmm. I'm biased. I'm not sure I can answer this question xD At least not the first part so I'll just skip it and allow people to answer it for themselves. As for how Winry sees herself in the mirror? She doesn't give a damn. She's much more a tomboy than a girly girl so she is more about comfort and practicality than anything else. She keeps clean and healthy but she doesn't really dress to look 'good'. Not to say she never dresses up, she does once in a while and enjoys it, but practicality over appearance most of the time.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Pretty fair skinned, as most people of FMA are. She doesn't really have any sort of birthmark or scar.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Blonde as all Amestrians are! *shot* Cornflower sort of blonde if we want to get into detail. Very long. Falls past her waist when she lets it down, but she usually has it up in a ponytail, and lets some hair frame her face. Bangs fall across her forehead when they aren't pulled back by a bandana.
9. What color are her eyes? Blue!
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Multiple ear piercings! And there is a cute canon story behind that. Winry first started to wear earrings because Riza did. One day Edward randomly bought her earrings and when he returned he presented it to her and it kept her from beating him up. So he figured. BUY HER EARRINGS WHENEVER YOU MESS UP YOUR AUTOMAIL AND YOU WILL BE SPARED THE WRENCH. So he did this like three times, and instead of just keeping the others stored away, Winry kept piercing her ears again and again.
When Ed and Al saw her with her ears bleeding from the latest piercing they of course freaked and called her stupid. Her reasoning was that since they are gifts from them, and the only thing she has of them, that she didn't want to risk losing them or parting from them. Winry you mushball. All link the story if I can find it again.

She has an extra set of tiny skull earrings that Ed got her in SC too so. Uh. Add another to the pair.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Chief tension centers..? Uh. Her shoulders I guess? I have no clue. Im not sure sure if that's what is meant by this question |D;; She probably gets stressed alot considering her history and all the responsibility she has in DC (and will come to have) but she's good at handling it.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Pretty varied, mostly earth colors. Black, dark browns and greens, the occasional indigo. Mostly casual.
Update: She is sometimes seen wearing an incredibly tattered and dingy red coat around her waist. Mmyup you guessed it. TYL Ed's old coat.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Yes, that's the most important factor when it comes to choosing her clothing.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Mmmm. Depends which job we are talking about? xD When she works with automail she wears a different set of clothing, but when in the clinic as long as its practical she wears her usual clothes with maybe an apron of some sort on top.
When working with machinary she usually wears a tube top and pants. After all (and this counts doubly in Death City) when creating alloys and molding them she has to work with fire which means she doesn't want to be in heavy grab. So she typically puts on a jump suit after that, so when she starts getting to hot she can just take it off and take a moment to cool down in light clothing.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? Idk panties. Or boxers if I had to choose from those xD
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Um. Alto voice. Not particularly high nor low. She can be incredibly loud when angry but usually speaks clearly and evenly.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Ahh as described above she speaks very clearly. She isn't the type to go silent often or mumble. When she wants to say something she says it, and she isn't usually the type to withold things. If there is something she is embarrassed or afraid of saying she typically doesn't bring it up at all.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? English thanks to BREW, German since it's pretty much the equivalent of Amestrian, and a little Xingese/Chinese since Ling has been teaching her some.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Yes she is.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Hmmm. I wouldn't quite use the word eloquent, but she's a pretty good speaker since she doesn't beat around the bush. She knows how to speak passionatly about things and is a fairly charismatic person who knows how to get others to listen to her, but don't expect a long, beautiful speech from her.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Winry is pretty smart. She grew up training to be an automail mechanic and a doctor and already had experience in both fields. While Ed and Al were devouring alchemy books, she was devouring medical books and pretty much as a fascination with all things tech.
Funnily enough though she doesn't do all that great in a school setting. Everytime we've seen her in one she's always asleep or reading something else. She seems to learn better independently or one on on one.
Right now she is learning medicine from China and Xingese/Chinese from Ling. Oh and she's training with Stein but that doesn't quite constitute as any sort of mental training.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She can think on her feet pretty well! After all she came up with the escape plan from Briggs on a spur of the moment.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Winry is definitely a logical person. Much like Ed and Alphonse (and pretty much most Amestrians). She is a scientist through and through, and is made really uncomfortable by things that don't have a concrete explanation.
4. What kind of education has the character had? She's been reading medical textbooks since she was a child, like, when she was 5/6. She learned from her parents for the short while they were in her life, and then started training under Pinako for automail so she's got a good deal of medical/technological education backing her up.
Seemed that in school though she was uh. Often asleep in class so I don't know how great she is in other unrelated subjects and she's obviously never had the patience for alchemy. xD
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Medicine and technology--specifically mechanical prothestics.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? ...nnn. She may seem like an extrovert but in some ways she's an introvert, especially with the changes she's gone through in soul_campaign. Winry came make friendly with people very easily, but she's only close to a very small number of people and doesn't really open up about herself.
Update: Way things are going in SC she's coming close to being almost completely closed off from most people. She can still speak with people easily and be friendly enough but it's all out of courtesy. Forming new friendships and trusting people is going to be hard.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? ...

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? That really depends entirely on the situation. Meeting someone completely new? She would have been fairly relaxed. Being transported into a different place/time to fight someone else's war? Not so much. Winry's overt friendly nature seems to cast the air of being gullible or naive on her but she isn't, not really. She's the kind of person who likes to know what's going on all the time and so she always asks a lot of questions, especially when she feels that knowledge threatened. Admittedly which when she doesn't she is quick to just go with the flow of things (ie. Kimbley)
Now things that happen in SC are rather extreme cases. Usually she doesn't really question a strangers motives (or she didn't anyway) and she goes about her questioning in a calm manner but yea.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Act.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight? Fight.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Nope.

14. What does she fear? The usual jazz of friends and family dying. Being abandoned or left behind in some way, even if unintentional. For a while I was fiddling with giving her a clown phobia just for the lulz but I really couldn't find a way to justify it so I decided against it xD

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? No blood siblings but that is a fact that doesn't even cross Winry's mind when she thinks about the Elrics. They are brothers. Point and fact.
