Yeah, great name for a city. I was confused too.

Nah, you can't leave this place unless it wants you to, or something like that. It's some place in between other worlds-- there's people from all over. There's a lot of people from manga and video games in my world here, just as real as you and me. It's kinda cool.

How can fictional characters out of manga and video games come to life? I've seen some weird stuff, but that's just ridiculous.

They can cuz that's the kinda place this is, kiddo. It's not ridiculous here.

And what kind of place is this? Do we get any missions in this sort of game or is it different?

Er... no, not really. This is different. No matter how you look at it, this definitely is NOT a game--!!!

This place gets these curses, right? They can do anything. People said candy rained from the sky for a whole day, it makes people into the opposite gender, it makes people bleed from wounds they had before. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes they really suck, it depends. It's all at the whims of the deities, or somethin'.

The deities rule the place. They're the ones that put the curses on everyone, usually every few days. Not everyone's affected though, it depends I guess.

Pretty much. There's some people here that know a lot about the place though-- they've been here a long time, but no one's been here longer than two years.
