fucking destruction
hello. haven't been around to gossip about lifejournal in some time, as i have not had internet in some time. here's the fresh-
november 20th- get shitfaced with rob, talk about writing philosophy while walking through the barrow downs with cans of foster's. end up at alex p keaton's, drink two pitchers, race off to catch some sleep before work in the jam space (with small black rats). on the way, rob & i crash bikes into each other, breaking my glasses, discman, smashing pumpkins disc 2 (NO!), beer glasses, and losing a crack pipe. friendship badly shaken. police show up, and do nothing. i tell them off, tell them i can't see.
21st- intensely suicidal. no money for rent OR glasses, i decide to escape to halifax and fake my death. i've quit my job at this point.
22nd- decide that this is the worst idea i've had so far. instead, i go and get more of my torso & arms tattooed. they are scabbing nicely.
23rd- play a show @ action/reaction studios. hit a beer bong with underage band ISCARIOT, they're nice guys. play very drunk, but very well. drank some ten beers in all? gin?
24th- actually get inked on this day. hurt like no pain felt before, especially the belly and ribs. felt like darth vader, in leather and bandages. got drunk with robert, friendship back online. there is a wonderfully vibrant bartender at the poacher's arms that i would like to get to know. and kiss. kiss kiss kiss. it snowed heavily on this day.
25th to 27th- severely depressed from drinking and blowing $100 a day on booze and garbage. but ready for work, because i begged for my job back (and cheri the cougar-boss said "god i'm glad you're back" because i am the best). i decided that having my parents split up is a good enough reason to take a week off. she's not even telling him, and now i've decided to stay behind and live in his house. buy what i need, stay away from him. i sense a very close, violent future.
what did i buy? lots of material possessions- hella, harkonen, bjork, thine eyes bleed. what will i buy? another 20" deep ride (it cracked) and a yamaha double-kick. i own another set now.
