Uh...

From Guardian's report on the 13 person murdering in NY:
"The shooting is the latest in a seemingly never ending stream of incidents of mass murder in the US, which many observers ascribe to the country's gun laws which are among the laxest in the developed world."

I won't go on a tangent about this.

I just think it's funny that they said "seemingly never ending" (never-ending is hyphenated, but hey! It's England) as though England has totally solved murder. I also think it's interesting that people would simply attribute gun crimes to the legal allowance of guns, and not to a psychological or mass ideological problem. I hate to simply agree with the old "guns don't kill people, people kill people" thing, but it's like, as I said before, ignoring that most physical violence is not a problem with young people, it's a problem with masculinity in this country. Gun violence is not a problem of "There are so many guns that everyone is shooting everyone," it's a problem of, "Hmm, I wonder what the stupid reasons are that these fuckers have for shooting each other." So...let's get on that.
I bet it's going to turn out he was some dick who hated immagants and that the murdering doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the fact that he had at least one gun, regardless of the manner in which he acquired it. He probably would have set them up the bomb if he did not have a gun, as he would have to do if he were in a country where guns were banned and you have a bunch of misplaced anger and retardation. Cause you have to get creative when things get hard rather than just throwing your hands in the air.

This has not even begun to be a tangent.
