oh, man. i've only had four hours of sleep, and i must work a ten hour shift soon. but i cannot for the life of sleep now. i feel like i'm addicted to heroin or something, and i've just decided to quit cold turkey. JO, HOW DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?
and yes. i've been in hp fandom for a while now, but my interest always seems to wane until a new book or movie comes out. and then i'm annoying to be around, because it's ALL i talk about. (omg. i must write more fic.)
i have been obsessed with harry/luna ever since ootp. and i had this wild moment, where i though maybe (just maybe) jo would make it harry/luna at the end, just to throw us of. but then i remembered that i had already spoiled myself for the harry/ginny. so. (and the harry/ginny didn't even bother me that much. because i really like ginny. i think she has an amazing strength, and her magic is fantastic. but we didn't get to see it in this book, not like in ootp.)
and i'm very glad that jo didn't do a long, drawn out, "how we got together" moment. because i would have gouged out my eyes. it's enough to know that they end up married, and ron and hermione too. (which, obviously.)
and in my mind, neville and luna got married. they totally did. you know they did.
and you know what? this book make me like dumbledore. i loved seeing him brought down a peg. loved seeing his humanity, his bad decisions, his guilt and his greed. i loved that harry is a much stronger person than albus dumbledore ever was. and yet harry still loves dummbledore fiercely. i LOVED that.

actually, i remember you posting about a harry/luna dream you had some time agoe :-B *iz not a stalker* :D
(omg. i must write more fic.) i couldn't agree more :> and see, we didn't even have to bribe you, mwahahaha XD
funny thing, the first time i got into fandom (hmmm, 5 years ago? i can't remember but it was before ootp :-/), i actually liked ginny a lot :) she was among my favorite characters :P but then, dunno, hbp really changed my opinion about her and the h/d obsession didn't help that much ;) but i really... dunno. i used to like her a lot, hee, even wrote (crappy) hermione/ginny. strange how that happens :/
oh yeah, if it wasn't harry/luna, then neville/luna all the way, yes! (who cares if jk says otherwise? :p)
i've always always loved dumbledore. no matter what he did. i guess i'm kinda biased in my character!fixations :) but yeah, so when he got all this spotlight in this book :) (even though i like my dumbledore perfect and white and pure, i can't deny the human charm of this new flawed facade)
