Adenomyosis?
Any personal stories would be greatly appreciated.
I'm Sarah. I'm 19. I was diagnosed with endo last April via lap, thrown on Lupron for three months which ended up "shitting out" (as put in the lovely words of my gyn) about two months before it should have stopped working. I was put on continuous Yasmin which hasn't exactly been making me feel much better. I had visited another gyn for a second opinion and she suggested that I may have adenomyosis. I discussed this with my regular gyn and he said that adeno only occurs in near-menopausal women. I know this isn't true, but I was wondering if any of you were diagnosed with it, how old you were, and what lead to your diagnosis. I just wish I knew what was going on with myself.
