So I ended up finding somewhere to go. I'm currently at Rent's house and the only one awake. That's perfectly normal though because none of us went to bed before 03:30 and It's 08:38 now.
So I nearly had that confrontation that's been coming with Tyler Sweet. I get here after taking the after-school bus and Chris is driving by so he gives me a ride down to the house. I get out of the car and my recently made friend Josh calls me over. I'm not even thinking at the time (mark not thinking was an obvious pattern for me today) and walk over without noticing Tyler in the car Josh had been getting into. So I'm talking to Josh and try to get a cig off him and Tyler says how Josh only has two and that he'll cover me. So we're talking and Tyler asks my name and when I tell him says that it sounds familiar. I then brought up that it was a known fact throughout CNS (and Parish) that I was nowhere near a fan of his. When he asked why I said simply that I was friends with Dale.
Now let me take a break here and tell you a fact I feel the need to tell you. When he realized who I was his eyes got a little wide then got what I like to call "the glaze". The glaze is when you try to appear utterly calm. When you read someone's eyes it's based on where they're looking. When your getting their feelings towards you at the time you have to be making eye contact. The glaze is when you fake that your looking them in the eye and in truth your looking at either their eyebrows or either side of the nose.
He got the glaze... Instantly he's acting tough and trying basic scare tactics. Finally I start thinking and walk away so that I don't start anything for two reasons. One, I'm at Rent's and it would be bad PR with his mom. Two, I get another Assault 1/2, I'm fucked. I start walking away and he reminds me that I had gotten a cig off him. I say no problem and bring it back to him calmly and for insult with a little smirk. Josh's just waiting to see who was going to swing, but what he didn't see was that Tyler had a knife open in his hand that wasn't getting the cigarette. Tyler never has, and never will have any intention to accept a fair challenge.
The day continues...
So me and Rent ended up leaving his house and collecting people to hang out with. We got Regina then walked across town and nabbed Kari, she went back in her house, nabbed Sean, then ended up meeting back up with Kari and Tabi. So we're walking down towards Eckerds and Tabi's phone rings...it's Kimber. Instantly myself, Tabi and Kari are in agreement that I'm "not there". Sean and Regina are utterly baffled at this point. Kimber and I haven't spoken since the day she broke up with me, and I really can't bring myself to end that trend. Somewhere during the phone conversation I ended up picking up Tabi for something. It was interesting hearing her trying to explain why she had been screaming without names.
Eventually we went to Eckerds (story in it's own there) and then to Rent's, just in time to walk them back.
Regina ended up hanging out with us until 03:30. Erik arrived for a while and we got playing MarioKart Double-Dash and Tetris, which Erik said is now concidered a competitive spectators sport. After he left we went to Denny's with Chris and met up with his friend Dylan. We end up back at the house three cups of coffee, and a whole lot of sugar playing MarioKart until 04:15, me popping sugar packets between races. Then me and Chris are watching some talk show, and this chick is teaching him how to pole-dance. That was some funny shit. When he would go to do the moves, he would get the whole pole moving, which'll get you hurt. That was some good shit there.
Good day,
Endi/Matt
