baby bunnies are in my yard
This is the nest
i didn't even know what was in it but i noticed it was moving; then i found the baby bunnies, they were 4 days old (i know this because after 1 week their eyes open, today they opened . . . it's 3 days later)
With eyes closed 4-5 days old
The mother only comes 2 times a day for 1 minute at a time to feed her baby’s. She does this for only about 2 weeks, then they’re on their own. Talk about growing up fast!!!
Oh yeah, and there are 6 of them… in case you were trying to count
Today - eyes first opened - 1 week old
One came out for about a minute
s/he shivered a bit and quickly went back to the nest

They are soo adorable
I want to touch them, I touched one by accident the first time I saw them, and I freaked out because my smell was on them - thankfully the mother came back and still accepted them. They look so cute I want to pick them up and cuddle them, but i can't, I’ll get my smell on them and the mommy won't like it, plus they are so tiny. Omg they are adorable.
