(no subject)
So I almost trach-ed myself at work today, erm... yesterday. I fell into a metal rack. Head first. I smacked my throat off the sharp and pointed metal bar. I have a huge welt across my neck that looks like someone tried to strangle me with wire. It hurt to swallow and to talk... it doesn't hurt as much anymore, but it's definitely swollen. It feels like I have a sore throat... when you get it and it's all swollen and hard to swallow. I was singing earlier and it felt like something was scratching away at my throat. So I have to go back to work tomorrow and fill out an incident report just in case I have to go to the doctor. Cindy, a girl I work with, saw it happen and I told my assistant manager about it after it happened. Blah...
So... let's talk about more pleasant things like fangirling about new Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece manga chapters.
SPOILERS are under the cuts, f-list!!!
Naruto:
1) Pein shirtless is a fangirl's dream come true. Srsly.
2) Konan/Nagato-Pein is such a wonderful OTP.
3) OMFG NINE TAILED NARUTO IS SO BA! If there is one thing I want to see animated is Naruto going 9 tails and loosing all control.
4) If there is a 2nd thing I want to see animated, it's THE FOURTH HOKAGE COMING TO NARUTO AND CALLING HIM "SON." YES! OMG! I LOVE YOU MINATO! &hearts I can't believe Naruto was pulling off the seal. Thankfully, he was stopped, but, gaaaahhhh, Pein now has him captured. Will Naruto stay captured? What will Sakura do... BTW- I loved how she started giving orders like a leader. Horrah for character growth.
5) Anko/Sai/Yamato is my new OT3. lol
6) How about Hinata? One one hand, I was proud of her for stepping up... but on the other hand, I was pissed that she chose this time to do so. BAD TIMING YO! Also, why does it feel like, imo, she is in love with what Naruto stands for and not Naruto himself? Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the pairing in any way. I endorsed it for a while there... it's just that Hinata has Naruto so far up on a pedestal that, even though she knows what he's about, she doesn't know him. Anyway, I was conflicted when I saw what she did... part of me cheered loudly, and another part was screaming "stop!"
Bleach:
1) Ulquiorra's releases have to be the best things since Banana Nut Cheerios. Love, Love, LOVE his forms and pwnage of Ichigo. Ulquiorra isn't even trying... he is just death/destruction incarnate. Totally reminds me of a mythical creature. Also, the chapters with the main fighting of Ichigo and Ulquiorra are named after the seven deadly sins... it makes it like Ulquiorra is passing judgment- just like death- even though he is committing the sins in his own way. I LOVE IT!
2) I want to fricken bawl my eyes out now because Ichigo is soooo dead and Ishida lost an arm already T.T I love Ishida all the more for how he is fighting though. Really. I do. But it makes me want to cry cause it's a huuuge blood bath.
3) Is Aizen relaxing and drinking tea somewhere? Bending Gin over his thrown? lol I wanna see him and Gin terribly. Anyway, I have a feeling we will soon see why Aizen wanted Orihime around. I think she is going to "reset" everything, but how far back? Aizen called it the "rejection of events." But does she have the power to eradicate everything? To what extent does her power go? What consequences, if any, would occur? Aizen is waiting for her power to "come out." I just can't wait to see what he has planned!
4) Speaking of Orihime. Can she stop saying "Kurosaki-kun?" Srsly. If she says his name one more time, I'm going to jump into the manga and beat her myself.
5) It's not that I really "hate" Orihime, it's just that when I think she "gets" it, she reverts back. She frustrates me to no end. Even 100 chapters ago when this all started, I ranted in my lj about her. I still have the same problems. Renji said it best with, "Showing concern for a warriors life on the battle field is an insult to that warrior." She claims to have faith in Ichigo... and I get all happy, but then she shifts again: "I let him out of my sight because I had faith in him." She didn't! NOT ONCE! She asks Ishida to take her to Ichigo within seconds of Ichigo leaving. I know I've been ranting about Orihime since when she was first "propositioned" by Ulquiorra, but I have a feeling she isn't going to make things better with her power. At all.
6) Foreshadowing by Ishida: "It was easy enough to guess what she (Orihime) would ask. I couldn't say no. But I would immediately regret agreeing." ... btw- why do I still think Ishida and Orihime would be good together? Maybe cause he would do anything for her despite the consequences? Eh. Maybe.
7) Gaaaahhh... have I mentioned how much I love Ulquiorra? Especially when he says, "If that's because of what you call a "heart," then it's the heart that causes you humans pain. It's because of your heart that you will die," before putting a hole in Ichigo's chest. (Where his own hollow hole is! ...again! haha)
One Piece:
1) OMG LUFFY! NO! I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN YOU SUFFER! T.T
2) Bon Clay rocks. He is the bestest transvestite evar. lol
and 3) I LOVE ACE. A LOT.
lol One Piece section is short, but I ran out of ranting-steam. ^^; I just really hope Luffy will be okay. Srsly. I don't want to cry, and I will cry if Ace is put to death... and I totally got teary when Luffy succumbed to the poison! Oda does a wonderful job with making his characters so quirky and lovable that I just can't take it if any of them are hurt! After 535 manga chapters, I still am as in love with his characters as I was in the beginning. That says a lot. :D
