ANGE MOEKASTEL WILL SAVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUafsdlkjfsdsdmiracleflowerJuly 24 2011, 19:35:39 UTC
[ Rika didn't understand what was happening. For some reason, she was in a classroom filled with school girls, then suddenly they changed form to look like some familiar Demeleier residents and some unfamiliar. It was difficult for her to determine who was who when everyone had their backs faced to her and their attention on someone else.
Another thing she didn't understand was that she currently had her ceremonial hoe with her. As far as she remembered, she never showed up in the village with it except for her gifts from Yuca. Something felt off... but Rika couldn't tell what it was.
The tiny girl kept standing outside of the circle. She couldn't see who the residents were looking at and when she tried to push her way through, she would get pushed back. Such a downside to being so small. She continued to observe their backs until she heard a familiar voice...
"Someone.. n-no, anyone, please, let me live!"
...And at that moment, Rika raised her plow above her head and brought it down on whoever was standing in front of her.
Who did she just hit? She wasn't sure who it was. She didn't really care much except for making a pathway from the outside of the circle and into the middle where Ange was. While she did put on a sweet facade, there were few in Demeleier she really cared about. And while she wasn't necessarily friends with Ange, she wouldn't wish suffering upon her either.
Raising her plow over her head again, she brought it down a second time and continued to repeat the process until the person before her was down. ]

[ At first Ange doesn't even notice it, really, too busy with freaking out over the wound on her torso that just won't stop bleeding. And while anyone could see by now that the wound is doing nothing physically to her other than bleeding more and more, Ange still seems convinced it'll be her death, more or less. At least the very shock of it is enough to drown out the first sounds of Rika's mowing.
But when the noise repeats, and nobody else moves - a circle of unmoving Demeleier residents, people she knows and doesn't know, and nobody is coming forward to help her - she can't help but get a little bit curious at the noise. And when she sees a person fall down and Rika appear behind them with a hoe, her shocked expression doesn't change.

[ Even with a single person down, there was now room for Rika to squeeze through and get a better look at Ange. She flinched at the sight of the blood pouring out of Ange's wound. If someone bled that much, they would already be dead. But Ange on the other hand was still alive and in pain.
She didn't get it. She didn't know what to do. Wherever they were, perhaps she could search for some help to stop the bleeding. But first, now that Rika had broken into the enclosed circle... it was time for her to get Ange out. ]
Come, Ushiromiya Ange.
[ She comes forward and offers a hand to the older girl. First, she'll let Ange decide whether or not she wants to accept her help. And if not...? Well, Rika would probably try to drag her out by force. ]
Let me make a miracle truly happen. I am the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama after all.
[ Don't think of me as Bernkastel, the Witch of Miracles. We're different. ]
I BECOME MEGUCA FOR ENGE...endofdaydreamJuly 25 2011, 21:49:41 UTC
[ Ange stares at the hand, a vaguely confused look on her face at first at Rika's sudden movement, while the group of people as an entirety still seems frozen on the spot. And while her words don't mean that much to her - the reincarnation of Oyashiro-sama? - she does understand what she's trying to say.
And she can't help but think of Bernkastel at that offer, if not just because of the likeness between the two. And the last time that witch had offered her a miracle, it had been a complete lie.
Her thoughts start to waver.
(The feeling in her stomach pounds.) ]
I want to be shown a miracle for real this time.
[ There's all sort of things behind those words. Perhaps somewhat of a threat, or even a promise to herself, or maybe she's just trying to justify this decision for herself, but Ange grabs Rika's hand nonetheless while covering her wound with the hand that's still free. She lets out a heavy breath. ]
ENGE YOU WERE MY BEST FRIEND.......... i guess...miracleflowerJuly 29 2011, 23:12:35 UTC
...Very well then. It's already a miracle that you could bleed that much and continue living. You have strong resolve.
[ That was surprisingly easy. Even if there was some protest, she would have dragged her out anyway. Rika hated seeing others sit around, do nothing, and cry in despair. Although the people were doing nothing much but staring, it felt very eerie having their eyes upon them and she wanted to rid of that discomfort quickly.
Tightening her grip on Ange's hand for security, she shifted her heels and started to walk back towards the little path she made earlier. She didn't know where she was taking the other girl, but that was something she'll figure out later. And if anyone from that group of people tried to resist them leaving, she would fight back. ]
REKA.. RABU.. ....... i guess...endofdaydreamJuly 30 2011, 11:54:09 UTC
A strong resolve..? [ She starts on perhaps a slightly amused sound, but it turns into more of a groan as she feels more of the blood slipping out her wound, dripping on the ground and leaving a trail behind her. ]
... Isn't it just the human will to live?
[ Her voice is a bit softer than normal, and she glances at the other people in the room - but they won't move, no matter what they do. Those people will just stand there and stare, like wax dolls. Ange looks ahead at the classroom's exit, leading to long and dark school halls. With one hand she clutches at her stomach still, while she makes sure to not let go of Rika's hand. For some reason she feels like she might just fall over and die just at losing that small contact. ]
Some humans lose that will to live, which is unfortunate since humans are only granted a single life to live.
[ Keeping her head faced straight ahead at the exit, she continues to walk along without giving one last glance at the others in the room. After several more steps, they have made it out from within the circle of people and into the darkness of the school hallway. ]
[ At least it's somewhat comforting to have Rika not in her cute mode right now - her way of speaking is a little more reminiscient of Bernkastel now, or at least more the sort of speaking she would expect from Rika. ]
If it's a delusion, it's a pretty painful one. [ Her voice sounds a little tight, since she knows Rika is right. She isn't supposed to survive something like this. ] ... Heh.. It would be pretty strange for me to be back at school either way, right? Especially with you here too. Maybe it's just.. another cruel witch's game.
[ It's all she has to say to that - as if she had to be told that she was going along with Rika. She doesn't want to give in to the witches or in to death any longer. She has things to live for, so she has to make it worth it and get through this. ]
[ The miracle that Rika would see in Hinamizawa's future would cost Ange's happiness. Helping Ange is a way for Rika to atone for that sin... not like she'll tell her about it though. ]
...Hey. This is your school. Don't you know where the infirmary is? Or the exit?
[ She does catch that Ange avoids mentioning the infirmary's location, but if she just wants to leave, then they'll leave. She continues walking along in silence until she finds the stairway. ]
I've felt better. [ She states it fairly dry, perhaps trying to obscure some of her weakness from earlier. She doesn't quite feel good though, but she's alive and that's what is most important to her right now.
... She shrugs a little as she walks on, already stepping on the stairway. The blood drips on the ground, leaving a red trail behind her. ]

[ - No one will save me. I have no family. I've thrown my friends away too. -
She grits her teeth, enduring the pain from the wound. She can't give in to that feeling again, can't give her life up now. ]

You shouldn't be able to survive a wound like that. I wonder if this is all some intricate delusion.
