Really? Well, I don't doubt something like that exists, considering I know quite some guys like that.

You should still learn how to avoid it one way or another.

Oh, I do. Just not in the most conventional ways.

Well... Chewing through rope, or using my body to break someone's fall down a mountain. That was a long time ago, though.

You're talking about it as if it's something normal.

It's normal when you're not quite human.

Not human? [ ... oh. Well, that's not unusual in this place. ] So what, you're some sort of indestructible creature that can break people's fall with its body?

I'm far from indestructible. Just really strong and really lucky. My race is known as the Brood. We have the ability to transform into dragons, although I'm afraid I'm the only one left with any power.

I don't see much point in hiding it with Myria defeated, and it won't be nearly as significant here without knowing my home's history.

Transform into dragons, huh? So you're even able to do that sort of thing in this place?

Yes, I can. I often use it on my shift on the Watch, to get a better view of the village.

Interesting. I've heard of people having quite some different sort of powers in this place, but this is something new.

Well, I suppose it could come in handy.
