Update!
Well first thing is first, I got (and destroyed) my first yearly evaluation. Just goes to show you that my guises pass even the government's standards. Lol. So despite the poor economy I will get my pay increase, after this however it will be up to my pending promotion for further raises until the freeze is done with. As far as other work stuff goes, I think it would be in bad form (or maybe against some unwritten rule) to make note of the number of people that I have helped save, died or were already dead in my line or work, but I do have my tallies in a notebook. I did earn a enjoyable nickname at work though.
Still getting the trip to Japan all set. I am working with a couple hundred hours of compensatory leave so it is in the stage of just waiting for others to give some finalized dates before heading out....sort of.
I will be going under the knife (well, laser knife) the beginning of next month. Going to cost a pretty penny, but it will be worth it as long as things do not fall under the 5% range of doom or 1% range of worse. Well, that will certainly need to be updated once the surgery is done.
That is a pretty good start for an update I think. Hopefully my Jell-o is done now.
