My website, which I have been patiently crafting with the help and support of the wonderful
bunn. There's still a bit more content to be added, but it's pretty much all there, so please feel free to take a browse.
http://www.louiseturner.co.uk/ There's also a new blog there, which I hope to update on a regular basis. It will feature all my writing news, and I'll be focussing, too, on archaeological and historical matters relevant to my writing. At the moment, the emphasis is, of course, on Scotland in the late medieval period.
Don't worry. I will still be using this LJ blog for general archaeology posts and chat about gardening, horse-riding, etc. I have of course been very quiet just recently. The book madness has passed, but life is just as hectic. I feel like Jean de Florette - almost every spare minute is spent lugging watercans about the garden to keep the drought at bay. Don't get me wrong, this weather is wonderful, but right now my marvellous floral display is something of a liability.
One last piece of news to share. I am totally addicted to pelargoniums. They were always a bit frou-frou for my tastes, but the more I grow them, the more I really, really love their variety and brilliant colours. If the sun comes out today (and I'm sure it will) I shall take some photos of my patio pelargoniums and share them with you, because they're looking glorious.
