I'm having a fabulous time here in LA. Yesterday was Jerome's birthday, so we went to see the New York Dolls at Spaceland.
I got hit on by an American, stood next to Meg White and Ville Valo and realised that the phenomenon of tall people wearing goddamn hats standing in front of me at shows is a universal law.
I met the family on Sunday, and I think I made a good impression as Jerome's aunties kept asking me when we were getting married. This is a good sign.
I'm already acutely aware that it is slowly getting closer to the 16th, which is when I leave. I know I need to enjoy the now, but it can be hard when you are anticipating such sadness.
