So I was thinking that I tend to complain about Nate and forget about mentioning the nice things he does. I don't know why it happens that way. O.o I bet he'd do the same about me if he ever really mentioned me much to people. So I worry sometimes that people either think he's awful or think that I think he's awful, which I certainly don't. Lauren suggested I make a post about it when I was mentioning some of the nice little things he does.

Tonight at Target he paid for the $5 or so that my gift cards wouldn't cover (I got a $5 gift card back too :D) and he did it nicely. And what was really nice was that he didn't want to go out tonight since he'd been out with his mom all day helping her shop, but he knew I really wanted to find those candles (Christmas tree scented) and my coupons expired tonight, so he did anyway. And the other night when I was still quite sick and we were out of water he went over to Walmart and got a gallon even though he was tired from work. And he brings me leftovers pretty often when he eats out with his parents. And he just told me to go ahead and watch the first episode of Lark Rise to Candleford even though he wants to watch Slam Dunk on his laptop soon. And he's going to bring home the Christmas tree tomorrow and help me decorate it even though he doesn't really care about Christmas. And he'll let me embroider his name on his giant stocking even though I'll enjoy it being done more than he probably will. And he found a place for my Rudolph for me. And he almost always thanks me when I make him dinner (which is usually almost every night). And he kept us stocked up on medicine and water while I was still sick even though he was better. And he commiserated with me when I ripped one of my favorite pairs of pajama pants (cheap flannel rips easily when you put weight on it against the grain ;_;). And he came and looked at my Christmas decorations in my room when I asked him and said they looked nice. And he probably would have helped me put them up if I had asked. And when I say ow or sound like I'm having a struggle he almost always asks if I'm okay (even when it's not a big deal at all). And we have a lot of fun talking about movies and books (especially books in my opinion) and he borrows some of my books sometimes and always tries to get me to read his. Currently I'm trying to talk him into reading some of my 19th century british literature. And sometimes he brings me home a beanie baby he knows I'd like (though they haven't gotten new ones at his work in months so I haven't gotten any in ages), or the little bobble headed giraffe bank I wanted once it went on clearance. And when he eats my snacks (he ate the last of the smores poptarts), he replaces them. And we have a lot of fun watching anime together or playing video games together (we really need to get back to playing FF7). And he's always happy for me when I win contests and get free stuff.

So those are some of the nice things he does. I mean, the little everyday things. He does bigger things too. And he does lots of jerky things also. XD I mean, he's a normal person. But yeah, never think that he doesn't do nice stuff or that I don't appreciate what he does. I do. I just don't seem to mention it as much for some reason. XD Oh, he also makes me scrambled eggs whenever he's making himself any sort of eggs (which sadly, isn't often). And he doesn't complain when the house is messy (though he also didn't notice I'd vaccuumed most of his room and mine today).

Poop, I really want to embroider some holly or something with my name on my stocking (well, I actually really DON'T want to do it, but I want it on there so I will), but I haven't done embroidery in so long. It'd be easier if it were cross-stitch, but I think regular embroidery would look better. I think I want to do a cross-stitch pillow at some point... I'm beginning to think I should just find a drawing of some holly and make my own embroidery pattern from it. It's hard to find free patterns.
