some time before karate

I'm guessing maybe I should update about stuffs thats been going on. Besides, I like going through my journal sometimes and remember fun stuff.

It's a bit late to be talking about what happened on my spring break, but I'll do it anyways:

I spent all my spring break pretty much in Arizona. I stayed with an old friend I've known for about ....wow ten years now. I just realized how long it's been since we met! It was awesome needless to say. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the entire time I was there. It was so peaceful too, unlike good ol' southeast Michigan. I have to admitt I wasn't as comfortable when I first got there, but Grace and I warmed up to each other in no time. It brought back memories from elementary school and middle school before she moved to Tuscon. I also got to know her mom a bit better which was great. She's such a crazy lady but I love her, lol. He brother hasn't changed a bit but he certainly loosened up a hell of a lot since I last saw him. One of my favorite things about staying in her house was the mornings. It was no problem getting up early. I'd get up and sit outside on her patio in the backyard where mountains were visible with a cup of coffee and just staring. It was almost completely quiet with the except of a few local birds. It gave me an opportunity to get some reading done before Grace woke up. Or I'd talk to her mom about whatever. So calm in her house...so much different than mine...I liked it a lot. We also got to visit a ton of sites like Sabino Canyon and Mt. Lemmon and Old Tuscon studios. There much to say about what I did but I'm afraid it's a lot to type out, lol. So if your curious, just ask me.
I hated leaving with a passion because I fell in love with the west. I couldn't complain too much though because when I got back, I got to spend time with my babas ^___^ <3 and that's always satisfying.

Things I've been up to since I got back are pretty much the same. Work and school with sometime for my friends. I'm finally actively getting some kind of internship or co-op lined up so I don't have to work at Ruby Tuesday. There are a coule options I am considering, but I still need to fix up my resume a bit and write some cover letters. One of the jobs are basically teaching families at a camp ground about the environment, geology and biology of the area. That sounds like a lot of fun to me plus it seems like good experience. We'll see though. A little concerned because I still don't have a ton of background in my major just yet. Meh, no worries. I am also really looking forward to backpacking with Andrew after both our classes are over with. His friend Jeff was originally interested in coming with us, but can't anymore because of a job he just got. Jeff is a nice guy, but I like the idea of being alone with Andrew seeing as we really don't get a ton of time alone. <3 <3.
At the end of may, I'm going to Toronto with Laura for Anime North. After classes get out, I'm gonna start working on my costume so I look like uber awesome when I go ^_^ <3.

Anywho, I gotta jet because I need to do some stretching before Karate practice. I'll catch you kids later.
