So. My professor pretty much shot down the latter part of my thesis and asked me to do a little more work focusing on the mysagonistic themes of the film, as well as the subtext in reference to the movie as a referencial element.
The ironic thing is that the latter of those two was what I originally wanted to focus on.
I think asking me to focus on the first, however, is a little unfair. I'm supposed to write this paper according to my interpretation. Not hers.
