What's with professors and jokes about their fly being open?
Apparently in the Math department, they love playing that joke--especially on new professors. I was told that other professors would stand outside the door where other students can't see and will mouth and/or motion to the other professor that his fly is open. Of course, then that professor will try to find a way to turn around and zip up without the students noticin--only find that it was a joke.

And it's still a relatively small auditorium, regardless. It holds maybe two hundred people, and less than half show up.
