wow i haven't updated in FOREVER and a day !! let's start with my sunday afternoon shall we..
my mom woke me up early so we could chill before i had to work at 3pm. we looked at he ads in the paper and i decided i wanted to shop because my fave polo's at old navy were on sale, and mom wanted to ride our bikes to the beach. after deciding it was nice outside, we rode. it was cold because of the wind but we went pretty far. down sheridan to us-1, made a right on the boardwalk down to greenbriar, back around to dania pier, and home up sheridan. about 3 blocks from our final destination home, my mom, who never rides on the sidewalk and i yell at her all the time too, gets her handle bars stuck in the chain fence and falls off. holy cow. she fractured her right foot (metatarcils) in 3 places- worst thing you could do. the same leg she was mauled by a dog on and broke her ankle which has 3 permanent screws. we had to rush her to the emergency room. i was 2 hours late to work. freaky people in there. some creep said i had nice legs and some extremely religious lately followed us around giving us a paper that told us to read these passages from the bible. weird. her friends susan came to relieve me from work and my shift was boring. got off around midnight.
monday i woke up at 6am to get ready for the long awaited COCONUT GROVE ARTS FESTIVAL. susan got her a wheelchair and i wheeled her ass around all day long in the grove. she bought the poster and a longways picture of plam trees with a bamboo frame. i bought 2 wooden fish and a picture of the 'western union' ship in key west. $150 for me. my fish were on sale for $25 each. holla. so channel 6 news was there. my mom is OBSESSED with lonnie quinn the weatherman in the morning. he was suppose to be there at noon, and wasn't. so we asked and they said he was on the way. lie. 1pm he's not there. 1.30 still not there. so anchorman bob mayer calls lonnie on his cell telling him my moms been waiting for him since 10am and hands the phone to my mom to speak to him. she freaked !! so i guess it must've been 2 or 2.30 before he got there and my mom just flipped. he hugged her and blah blah and she got her pic with him and then he gave us all autographed pics of him. i admitted i'm not up at 5am to see him so it was whatever for me. he was cool though. cutest thing in person. nice nautica tie lol. so we chatted with him. he said to my mom, and i quote " i like you tattoo on your breast." he checked out her rack. lmao !! it's ok he's divorced and single. holla. so that was cool. we ate lunch at cafe tu tu tango which wasnt any big deal, but was cool because everything is served in appetizer portion. hot stuff. i was exhausted and sunburnt and we fell asleep before 8pm.
tuesday we had to wake up 8am to handle more business. i worked at 3 so we had stuff to do. we went to the doctor's office to pick up a refferal so my mom could see an orthopedic. then we headed to publix for dinner. i had her in the electrical cart and she was embarrased. oh well. she cant really use her crutches because when she fell, she landed on her shoulder and that's what broke her fall, so it's all sore. she was 2 nice cuts on her knees which match great with her freshly purple swelled foot and toes. so we get home and i unload the groceries, get the mail, help with dinner, start laundry, dude i'm drained !! i NEVER wake up before 11am and barely do chores. so it sucks. and it's my first week doing fulltime. so i go to work and thats all.
wednesday mom had her orthopedic appointment. she'll be 3 months no walking and her foot has swelled 3 times it's normal size. she has some soft cast stuff under an ace bandage with this foam-looking sandal. we had to drop off her note at work and then i was late again for work by 45 min. so i arrived at 10.45 am. i was on the floor and it wasn't too bad. i got to work an hour in the bakery putting cookies and turnovers in their correct plastics. fun hairnet lol. i honestly forgot what i did after work lol. oh yeah !! i went to eat dinner at disalvo's with shane, his dad, shamus and danielle, and sean. big happy familia. it was cool. his dad bought like 6 tubs of breyers ice cream beacause it was bogo last week, and we ate ice cream for dessert. came back to my house in time for ashlee simpson at 10.30 and then fell asleep.
thursday i had off. mom and i went to target and publix again. both places she was blessed with an electric cart. after we went to gold's gym we're my fat ass signed up for a membership. i'm stoked. i have an appointment next monday for a free trial with a personal trainer. cool. i wana do the spinning classes. so i just lounged a lot til shane got home from school. mom made us cheeseburgers with corn on the cob and kraft mac n cheese. ballin' !! then shane and i met up with mills and her new beau lee for a double date at boomers. we played 2 rounds of mini-golf ($10 thursday) which i totally DOMINATED !! (thank you very much) it was great. i think her guy thought i was weird because i was dancing around and making sexual bets when people got holes-in-ones. lol oh well. they left after that for some nooky and shane and i went into the arcade. we played my all time fave cruisin world usa. he won 3 times outta like 12, and i whooped the rest. he got 1st place though and i never did. hmph. when we got to my house the last half of scary movie 3 was on and we watched that. hilarious !! i've never seen it before.
today i worked 11-8. went by fast. shane met me for break and we shared my deli chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and plantains. i thought i was going to be $50 short but thank god i wasn't and was only $.12 short. i can deal with that. when i got off shane went to break (our usual friday) and i had a bad craving for mickey d's. so i got a quarter pounder with cheese, fries, sprite, and hot fudge sundae. it rocked my world. their fries rule. my sundae had wayy too much fudge on it so it made me a lil sick and i couldnt finish it. so after i just came home and talked a bit with my mom. i did my 3 S's and now here i am. updating for all you folks.

oh yes !! i have bad news : since i am now full-time, i MUST maintain a 40 hour work week. if not, they will take it away from me. therefore, i will not be able to take and vacations any time soon til i recieve vaction time. this mean, and i am so pissed to say this, but i can not make it up to tally to visit my buddy becca. i am so sorry becca and heather !! i talked to my manager about it and he said it's not a good idea for me especially when i just started full-time. i am so sorry ladies. hopefully i will make it up there soon !!
