When every heart
So, today was the first day of the week-long Boys Choir Camp, at which I am accompanying the choirs...to the bathroom. And on the piano, of course. Today was rather successful, I was happy. The boys choir hath gone unto the world and multiplied, for there are about 17-18 of them. I do alto sectionals with Colin -- not all of them are that perceptive of singing what's on the page -- but I made it clear to them that a rehearsal with me is no different than with Lucy or Mr. O or Mr. Pope, that I demand the same respect. Although I'm cooler, eh? It worked! Little kids listen to me. Sortof. Haha, I'm teaching kids I used to sing with.
Tomorrow starts day 2, which is followed by a voice lesson, and in the middle Colin and I have organ/piano fun time. Which is fun. Yay.
I've been composing a good bit recently, finished the O gracious light (SSA a capella) and am almost done with O Rex Gentium (SA, organ). A bit of fun. Lucy liked them.
