Meep! or possibly, Yay!
My first art exhibition is tomorrow!
Juneau Projects are using an empty shop to display the work of local artists. Since making salt dough jewellery makes me happy, I've decided to pop along tomorrow at midday with my pendants and show them off.
I'm really looking forward to this, actually. Imagine, I'm actually going to be an artists and everything! I can't even bloody draw! And let's be honest, they're not great art, but they're sweet little shapes and they amuse me.
However, now I have questions:
1) How would I display my pendants? I'm thinking attaching them to handmade business cards, and pinning them to the wall with plain drawing pins.
2) I don't know how big a space I need, so I'm not sure how much material I'll need to take with me. People for whom I've made pendants, do you mind terribly if the viewing public see the pieces before you do?
