For pity's sake, why is my hair dry already?
It's developing tight little curls at the ends, because I like to soak the ends in cold water to keep cool. And trust me on the day like this, even with little runnels of cold water running down my back, any help keeping cool is very welcome.
That, plus drinking rather more water than I'd normally contemplate, is basically my cunning plan for surviving this temperature. Tomorrow I'm going to see I can find some nice cheap lemons and a cheap lime, and make some of my home made lemonade. Hell, if anyone's doing a cheap deal on double cream I'll probably make a nice big batch of kulfi as well.
Heck, my PC is suffering nearly as badly. It needed the case cracking and dusting down on all the fans and things- the poor thing was overheating and booting off every twenty minutes.
According to the BBC Weather, tomorrow is going to be 24 degrees Centigrade. Gah.
