Doctor Who thoughts

* I've decided I quite like the new title sequence, though the intro to the theme will take a bit more getting used to, I reckon.

* Still, I'm pleased Murray Gold is still on the payroll- I do love his soundtracks.

* I wanted to like Matt's Doctor, and I do! He's both odd and sweet, but he probably needs to work on the terrifying.

* The kid playing Amelia is awesome, and breaks my heart when she so hopefully packs her suitcase. It inevitably makes me think of a another little ginger schoolgirl who never got to travel with the Doctor...

* Can I be blunt here? I wouldn't let Amy in the TARDIS, and if the Doctor wasn't guilt tripping he'd see that actually, she's pretty messed up in the head. Biting Psychiatrists? Making her friends dress up as her imaginary friend? Lying about getting married?

* As a side issue, I'm seriously debating whether a kiss-o-gram counts as a sex worker. Still, as a wise man once said, "just 'cos she dances go-go, it don't make her a ho, no."

* His brief flirtation with a fire engine aside, the Doctor's so very married to the TARDIS it's adorable. "Thanks, dear" makes me smile every time, and who else would he refer to as "sexy thing"?

* Quoting the Shadow Proclamation always makes me hope that someone's going to get some Judoon in the face. Not this time, sadly, but then the Atraxi didn't have a whole lot of face to get in to.

In other news, I've also seen Jonathon Creek, and certain sections of my social circle will be pleased to know that Paul McGann is still smokin'.
