Make up a batch of sponge cake mix.
Add enough cocoa until you like the look of it.
Stir in two packets of Mars Planets.
Pop a Mars bar in the fridge.
Bake the cake- if you use a loaf tin it will sink in the middle.
Finely slice the solid Mars bar, and lay on top instead of icing.
The result is messy, but unbelievably chocolatey and good.
As you can see, Andy's been away nearly 3 hours and I've already moved on to the "badly thought out baking experiment" phase. Still, those eggs needed using up, and I am full of baked goodness. Go me!
