I can't decide if I feel a PG-rated webcomic coming on.
Shambles- Former nightmare, but when confronted by the Hunters admitted that his heart wasn't really in it. Madam Changer altered him to something less spiky, and now he wanders behind the Hunters, carrying heavy stuff and hoping that if he does enough good deeds Mum will turn him into a teddy bear, and he can look after a little human all of his own.
Sir Chevalier- Armoured slayer of monsters. The first of Mum's creations, he likes to think he's in charge. He's certainly at the forefront of any battle, and has a reputation so fearsome that even the most horrific depiction of a PE teacher pauses in mid-shout. He'll gladly teach any teddy ears he meets the basics of human-defending, leaving them with a small medal.
Madam Changer- Colourful mage. Her speciality is changing tough nightmares into something less fearsome- a cage of steel is a problem, a cage of strawberries and marshmellows is a snack. Since nothing's an obstacle for her, she's the most easy-going of the the Hunters, and likes it best when she can persuade everyone to be friends.
Davy Lamp- Intrepid explorer. Skinny enough to check under the narrowest of cracks, his speciality is checking under beds and in wardrobes. Anything he finds gets dragged out by the ear and told not to be so silly. He does sometimes get irritated if it's the same nightmare hiding out again and again, and sometimes only Madam Changer can cheer him up.
Compass Rose- Not every nightmare can be hit, so for those who are lost or confused there's a friendly, younger Hunter able to help them. Compass Rose loves seeing new places- even places that other people would consider terrifying. As a result of her abilities, she gets bored if she has to keep still too long, and takes the lead whenever there's not a fight.
