Okay, have a look at this, and see why I got annoyed in town today.

Kids' Soltan, SPF50, UVA protection, 50ml. £4.10 to you, squire.

Soltan, SPF50, UVA protection, 75ml. £4.10 to you, squire.

Yup, that's right. They're the same price, but the adult pouch contains 50% more sunblock. As far as I can tell they're the same damn formula, so why make the children's sunblock more expensive? Hell, considering that children are far more sensitive to sunlight in the first place,bumping up the price is the last thing the retailer should be doing.

*Sigh* Call me an old hippy, but if I had some say in the matter sunblock would be partially subsidised. Studies have shown that we don't apply enough of it at a time, and we don't apply it frequently enough. Of course, that's mostly laziness, but I have a (badly-thought out) theory that the price of sunblock is a contributing factor.
