Grudging Productivity
Right, I've got the standing order in for Maelstrom, paid up the electricity (£160, I'm feeling a bit pale), and got the BT engineer to come round Monday afternoon. Well, that's the only time he can make it, anyway. The master socket to the house is in my bedroom, and frankly I'm freaking out a bit at the prospect of housework.
Oh, and now I've got a pension review Thursday at 4. They'll want me to put more in if I'm any judge.
And oh look, is that my BT bill coming through? Yes, yes it is. Dear Gods, I'm pleased I've already paid the rent got this month- It's the 6th and my money has already hemorrhaged!
CRISP OF THE DAY:
Onion Bhaji- The first few bites remind me of those cheap greasy "Indian snack packs" you get from the corner shop, the kind with a couple of bhajis and a couple of samosas. So definitely points for authenticity there. But then the onion flavour wins out, and you can't tell the difference between this and classic cheese and onion.
Until the spices emerge for a triumphant finale on the aftertaste!
