Is anyone else watching BBC's Merlin? It's fun, and not as bad as I feared it would be. I'm asking because either I've become terribly corrupted by fandom, or else Merlin and Arthur are the slashiest piece of subtext I've ever seen on the BBC. When half the damn episode is various characters talking about how devoted the boys are to each other, it's time to resist the urge to seek out fanfic.
ETA: MOPPeT is that while in the original myth Merlin's mum was knocked up by an incubus, in this version she starts quoting the dragon for a reason. And there's still no sign of a human Dad for Merlin the child prodigy.
"Mum, why does the child support always turn up in the form of a pile of gold and a badly singed sheep?"
