I'm trying a new recipe (well, all right, I made it up with my brain) so let's see how it goes. I've put six sausages in the bottom of a casserole dish with one chopped apple, two chopped carrots, a chopped leeks, and a couple of bay leaves. Then I poured good cider over the lot, waited for the bubbles to subside, and sprinkled a load of thyme on.
We'll see what that's like after baking it in the oven for an hour, I've a hazy idea it'll be nice with mash.
