It's all grand, and it's all green!
I've never dressed up for Halloween before, it's jolly exciting! I grabbed the spare Arrakech kit, and that lovely gold-and-black cape I bought last time I was at Unca Nic's.Andy has green dryad makeup, so I wandered off to the little costume shop that's almost always deserted.
Not today it wasn't! Everyone was six deep to the till, but we were all pretty good natured about it. I ended up comparing the relative merits of cats and Spiderman to a small boy who was asking why his little sister would want to be a cat.
Even better, I bought a small plush froggie to pin to my pointy hat, and three hours into my shift found that if you press it's tummy, it lights up and says "I love you!" Eee!
I wasn't a very scary witch. Apparently I was exuding "little girl glee" all over the place.

Meanwhile, Nano has already gone wrong for me. I was planning a sequel to Hand of Mercy, but I seem to be writing about Fairy Godmother tech support.

This green doesn't seem to be coming off. Hmm.
