I'm glad someone is having fun with their LRP, because I've reached that point where there's less than a week to go til Maelstrom. I'm bringing two newbies along, and frankly it's all very stressful. They have some costume ideas, a vague idea on transport, no beaks to go with their masks, and I'm frothing at the mouth. Somehow, just for this week, I cannot make myself believe that Maelstrom is just a game. Oh no, the mantra pretendy-fun-time-games makes no impression on me. This is serious. Maelstrom is an art form.
