Where are we now?
I figured a few people who know me and meg would like to know how our parents are doing, more specifically how meg's parents are doing. I'm sure there are those who remember all those times "studying" at their house in OS and drinking inordinate amounts of mountain dew. Well, good news, it's still there and Mr. and Mrs. B are alright. They seem to have gotten lucky in all this, but OS as a whole is not doing too well, as is the rest of the gulf coast. I'm not even going to get into how NO is doing. Joey, I have never met someone so lucky as you. My parents, I have gotten word, are alright as well. Though I haven't talked to them directly, I have talked to the Burkes once and Meg has talked to them once. They should be coming to Oxford sometime soon, but that is still to be observed. I don't think they know what to do with 3 massive dogs if they should come up, but to have 4 dogs and a cat in an apartment would be awesome. So everyone breathe a very small sigh of relief and keep praying (for those who do) for all the poor victims of this great tragedy.
